Turkey Trot
The United Way of the Eastern Panhandle Turkey Trot will be on the property of James Rumsey Technical Institute and includes trail, grass, and pavement that is mostly flat with some gentle hills. The 5k will begin at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event will be used for youth focused initiatives.
Food donations will be collected in the registration area and distributed to local backpack programs.

Sweet Potato Sprint
Children ages 10 and under are invited to participate in the Sweet Potato Sprint. Registration is free and begins at 7:30 a.m. The race will be at 8:15 a.m. Race length is less than 1/4 mile. All Sweet Potato Sprint participants will receive a finisher’s medal and children’s book.
