Health and Human Services CollaborativeHousing Work Group Leadership: Carmen Winiarski and Pat McMillan Vision: All persons in Morgan, Berkeley, and Jefferson counties have safe, appropriate and affordable housing. Mission: To foster availability of housing through education and advocacy through a partnership of community resources. The focus is: (1) community education about homelessness and need for affordable housing (2) developing grassroots efforts to directly address these issues (3) increasing capacity of affordable housing providers. The Housing Work Group generally meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 2 PM in the conference room at Susquehanna Bank on the corner of Burke and Maple Streets in Martinsburg. Upcoming Meeting: Wednesday, August 18, at 2:00 PM at Susquehanna Bank Board Room on the second floor. |
